Morning Mr. Heyl,

Short feedback tot he new self-adhesive patches. They are already better as the old ones, but still not as I would like them to be. Was today at Neurologist to get nerves measured again. He was quite shocked about the result. The values dramatically improved. Your device seems to convince him. Well, if suddenly a Dr. A. will get in touch with you, he is coming from me.

Kind regards

Comment CarpaStretch:

Mr. S. was provided an enhanced variation of self-adhesive patches, which are showing an improved adhesion at sweaty palms. A new additional “strong” version of the self-adhesives is expected to be available at IVth quarter 2018. Dr. A. (Neurologist) meanwhile is one of the biggest supporters of CarpaStretch.

Good morning Mr. Heyl,

Several days back we talked on the phone and at that time I already informed you, that your CarpaStretch shows good results.
Now I took a ride on my Vespa yesterday for the first time since long.
I couldn’t drive any more, as after only 2 – 3 km my hands got numb.
And now? One hour I was on the move without getting a tiny sign of tickling in my hands.
Awesome! ! ! Many thanks for your ingenious invention! ! !

Best regards

Dear Mr. Heyl,

I suffer from CarpaL Tunnel Syndrome and was under medical treatment at a Neurologist on 12.12.2017. She has recommended your product by providing a flyer, however with the information, that she is not sure, whether the product is an adjuvant, which is approved and accepted by statutory health insurance.
I am a pensioned public officer of the state Baden-Württemberg and therefore insured by the government aid of the state. I have issued an inquiry to the responsible regional authorities for remuneration and provision regarding approval of the expenditures for your CarpaStretch  product and got the information in written form, that the costs for the product are accepted for an allowance due to 6 paragraph 1 No. 4 of the Beihilfeverordnung (BVO)(regulations of allowance).I tell you this,  as my Neurologist was not sure about the approval of CarpaStretch as adjuvant.
In case you already heard about that, this information would be unnecessary,  if not, the written confirmation (at least regarding the regulations of allowance) is added.

Kind regards

Hello Mr. Heyl,
After some time I want to contact you again to share my experience with CarpaStretch.
I am totally thrilled, as in the meantime I am almost symptom free, wearing the device only occasionally.
Only the power is still missing in this hand. I have reached in a short time significantly more compared to wearing a conventional splint for many years.
I have submitted the invoice together with a medical certificate to my governmental health insurance (TK).
From there I received a rejection regarding reimbursement of the costs.
After a longer phone discussion with the person in charge. I was informed that there could be the possibility of a decision on a case by-case basis, if there is a clinical study available, which could be presented to the health insurance.
Otherwise the health insurance can only reimburse medical devices, which have an approval number.
Or is there any chance, that there will be one for CarpaStretch?

Comment of CarpaStretch: The clinical study is successfully completed, publication is expected for Sept/October 2018.

I would be very grateful, if you could possibly support me.
The attitude of the health insurance company is a complete mystery to me, as the splint (immobilizer) at the pharmacy costs 112,-- Euro, and they would have even saved money. But let us wait and see.
Many greetings from Mertingen

 Hello Mr. Heyl,

First of all, thank you for the prompt answer. The mark inside  the palm is more on the surface.  I am quite sure, that it is not an allergical reaction, as the mark is exactly between the two self-adhesive patches.
Maybe the tension was really too high, as after some time the thumb always got a little numb. This would also speak for it. I will reduce my ambition a little bit in the next days. Wearing the device, I have the comfortable feeling, that my wrist gets stabilized (completely different as without the device).
I am missing this feeling more and more during daytime and at night.
In these situations I would like to wear the device longer – but I think I have to school myself in patience. Furthermore, I have the feeling, that the power in the left hand has slightly improved. I am able to compress a gymnastic ball several times in a row and release it, without feeling pain in my palm immediately. Again many thanks for your efforts and a nice weekend.

Many regards

Dear Mr. Heyl,

I use the CarpaStretch at both hands since mid of January. Now I was given the confirmation by my Neurologist, that Carpal Tunnel has got into normal condition at both hands.

I want to express my sincere gratitude, that you invented CarpaStretch putting me in a position to shift a surgery into far future.

Many kind regards to you and also to your team.
